Arakkunnam is a small village town in the Ernakulam District of Kerala state. This small town is situated about 26 km south-east of Ernakulam town and 13 km east of Tripunithura town. The town comes under administration of the Edakkattuvayal panchayat and Kanayanoor Taluk.
